Our Story

Sobrew started with two childhood friends, a lot of coffee, and a second chance.

We’re Yancey Spangler and Zach Feinstone born and raised in Memphis. Life took us in different directions, but recovery brought us back together. Along the way, we noticed something: coffee wasn’t just a drink in the recovery community; it was a ritual, a reason to gather, and a source of comfort.

We created Sobrew to honor that tradition. More than just great coffee, we want Sobrew to be a brand that fuels connection, resilience, and a fresh start. Whether you’re in recovery, supporting a loved one, or just love a good cup of coffee, Sobrew is here for you.

This isn’t just coffee. It’s community. It’s a reminder that no matter where you’ve been, there’s always a new beginning—and sometimes, it starts with a cup of coffee.

Ethically Sourced, Sustainably Grown

We partner with farmers who use sustainable and eco-friendly practices, ensuring that every bean is cultivated with care for both the environment and the people who grow them. Our coffee is sourced from regions known for their rich flavors and commitment to fair labor standards.

Fair Wages & Community Support

We work with suppliers who prioritize fair wages and safe working conditions for coffee farmers. By choosing SoBrew, you're supporting small farms and cooperatives that reinvest in their communities, helping create better opportunities for workers and their families.

Quality You Can Taste

Every batch of Sobrew coffee is selected for its bold, smooth, and complex flavors. We work closely with our partners to ensure consistency, freshness, and the best possible coffee experience for you.

More Than Coffee—A Commitment to Change

Just as we believe in supporting those on the journey of recovery, we believe in uplifting the farmers who make Sobrew possible. Our sourcing isn’t just about great coffee—it’s about making a difference from farm to cup.

Better beans. Better communities. Better coffee.
